The Competition
Miss Multinational begins with the selection of the delegates in their respective countries, where hopefuls compete in their home countries – via national pageants or franchise casting – to secure the title of the national winner or representative. These national winners then earn the privilege of representing their nation on the international Miss Multinational stage.
At the world finals, the competition unfolds across five major phases, each designed to showcase the contestants’ grace, intellect, cultural pride and advocacy spirit:
- Sashing & Welcome Ceremony: A dazzling inception event that introduces the international delegates and sets a celebratory tone.
- Swimsuit competition: An empowering showcase focusing on fitness, confidence and poise in swimwear.
- National Costume Round: A culturally rich segment where each contestant presents a costume that epitomizes her country’s heritage and identity.
- Preliminary Competition: Serving as the primary qualifier, this round combines swimsuit, evening gown and stage performances, from which a top finalists are chosen
- Grand Finale: The culmination of the show with the crowning of the winner, runners-up, continental winners and special award winners.
Judging & Selection Parameters
Contestants are evaluated holistically across four pillars—beauty, intellect, cultural pride and understanding, and advocacy – reflecting the ethos of diverse beauty with relevance, purpose and integrity. Transparency remains central: scores are carefully tallied at each stage to ensure fairness.
Additionally, pageant enthusiasts and admirers of the candidate play a vital role. A popular vote directly impacts the selection of the finalists as it allows the candidate with the maximum votes to advance to the finals, reflecting the pageant’s commitment to audience inclusion.
